As long as I can remember I was always
making things...growing a garden...and drawing
and painting plants and flowers.

After receiving a fine arts degree in design
and illustration, I began a career as a designer
and art director. Specializing in branding,
logo design and editorial fashion.

Paper Mélange started simply from a love
of design, beautiful paper, stationery,
and charming little cards.

As an illustrator, I love working in several
mediums such as pastel, watercolor, pencil
and digital illustration. I feel this adds a
very original artisanal quality to my work.
And makes your invitation like no other.
My invitations are almost like small canvases
whereby I can create a beautuful piece of art.
Each piece is prepared by hand and with
great care to fine detail.

Surrounded by the sea and my lovely garden,
I am inspired by nature’s beauty. Often,
sand, leaves, herbs and natural elements from
the environment compliment my work and
add that tactile quality. Textures, colors, music,
nature, the sea and a multitude of
books and ephemera ignite the spark that
my creativity thrives on.

Paper Mélange is the Art of the printed word.
